Denver, CO (PRWEB) September 15, 2010
With the assistance of Palazzo, Granite Properties has successfully upgraded from a seven year old version of Oracle’s EnterpriseOne applications to the new JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.0 Financials, Real Estate and Job Costing applications. Granite Properties made the choice to move to the latest version of JD Edwards for a number of reasons:
- To take advantage of the enhanced Real Estate functionality: specifically Expense Participation, Advanced Real Estate Forecasting, and FASB.
- To align Granite’s IT strategy with Oracle’s current and future products and technology.
- To improve business processes and the end user experience.
Key benefits are already being realized such as:
- Reduced the need for custom enhancements to JD Edwards real estate management and forecasting.
- Enhanced system performance and end-user satisfaction.
- Key process improvements in: FASB, reporting, recurring billing, and job cost.
Clint Osteen, Director of IT for Granite Properties says:
“Making the choice to move from a stable seven year old version of EnterpriseOne wasn’t easy, however, now that we are live on EnterpriseOne 9.0 we are glad we did. By working with Palazzo and taking advantage of the new EnterpriseOne capabilities, we have realized a number of process improvements. As an added benefit, our users quickly adapted to the new web interface, and some commented they thought 9.0 was a completely new solution.
