HYSKORE Announces a Recoil Free Tactical and Varmint Shooting Rest

Hyskore will introduce the Dead Eye Tactical and Varmint shooting rest at the 2010 SHOT Show. According to Hyskore spokesman Ted Werner, recoil discomfort separates many people from fully enjoying shooting sports. Even an experienced rifle shooter (http://www.hyskore.com) may notice a flinch when the firing pin falls on a dud . A shooting rest (http://www.hyskore.com) that absorbs recoil solves this problem.

THE HYSKORE DEAD EYE TACTICAL & VARMINT RECOIL ABSORBING SHOOTING REST

Quote start"Recoil (or kick) is the bane of all shooters. Recoil and muzzle blast cause flinching, which leads directly to missed targets. Anyone who shoots a lot and is honest will admit that he or she sometimes flinches. Some shooters always flinch.Quote end

Huntington Station, NY (PRWEB) January 16, 2010

Hyskore will introduce the Dead Eye managed recoil tactical and varmint shooting rest at the January, 2010 Las Vegas SHOT Show. The Dead Eye allows the shooter to maintain constant cheek weld, eye relief and sight picture even when laying down rapid fire on multiple targets.

The elimination of recoil using compression damper technology represents a major advancement in varmint and tactical shooting platforms. The physiological and psychosomatic results of pain caused by a strong recoil pulse are well known to shooters. http://www.chuckhawks.com/column6_flinching.htm A .22 Long Rifle .223 / 5.56 or, 22-250 can be a pleasure to shoot all day long. .375 H&H or .416 Rigby are hard hitting, high energy magnums and are best taken in small doses or completely avoided. A gun support system or shooting rest using a compression damper synchronized to the gun's recoil characteristics will make this type of magnum rifle caliber manageable.

Progressive recoil pulse reduction is critical to maintaining the structural integrity of the gun stock, bedding, and rifle scope. Guns are designed with the knowledge that recoil is being progressively absorbed by the mass and flexing of the shooter. If this didn't happen the recoil contact surfaces in the gun stock would expand, possibly breaking the stock, and almost always creating extra clearance that can turn a sub M.O.A. (http://www.economicexpert.com/a/Minute:of:arc.htm), gun into a 2 or 3 M.O.A. gun.

A compression damper is a steel tube with a smooth interior and sealed at one end. A piston with gas tight seals mounted on a shaft moves within the tube . The shaft is supported in a bushing in the open end of the tube. Dry pressurized nitrogen gas is pumped into the space ahead of the piston. The pressure of the gas determines the resistance of the device. When pressure on the piston compresses the nitrogen it raises its temperature converting the kinetic energy caused by the recoil pulse into heat energy. As the piston travels energy is continuously bled off, progressively absorbing the recoil.

A full range of compression dampened, recoil attenuating shooting and tactical / varmint rests is available from HYSKORE® http://www.hyskore.com . The line up consists of the DLX Precision Sighting Rest , the Dangerous Game® Machine Rest , the Ten Ring® Shooting & Varmint Rest , and the Dead Eye™ Tactical & Varmint Rest . These are all fully supported on the HYSKORE® website with instruction manuals, target down loads, and both demo and tutorial videos. Most importantly, these advanced shooting rests are affordable to the average shooter.

The entire product line can be viewed at booth #3544 at the 2010 SHOT Show in Las Vegas.

High capacity magazines are important for varmint hunting

When hunting multiple targets, like prairie dogs, a shooting rest that supports high capacity magazines is a big advantage.

The Deadeye pivots over 120 degrees to quickly engage multiple targets

A massive thrust ball bearing assembly gives the Deadeye the ability to smoothly traverse over 120 degrees.

A nitrogen filled compression damper progressively absorbs recoil

By absorbing the recoil pulse and eliminating muzzle rise, the Deadeye keeps the crosshairs on target shot after shot. This allowa the shooter to rapidly engage multiple targets.

Calibrated coil springs attenuate the recoil from light recoiling guns

Varmint rifles typically have light recoil. The Deadeye is supplied with 3 sets of calibrated coil springs to attenuate milder recoil pulses.
