Johnny G Krankcycle® by Matrix Equipment donated to TRACK.

KrankcycleRx and Wounded Warrior Project today announced the donation of two new Krankcycles to the Wounded Warrior Project TRACK center in Jacksonville, FL. The equipment will provide the wounded warriors in the program with a different way to train and stay fit.

TRACK is the first and only education center in the nation designed specifically for wounded warriors. The program consists of classroom-based learning, with ancillary support services like health and wellness training, and personal finance workshops as well as resume and interview preparation. An externship component with a local employer is also an integral part of the 12-month program.
“Having the Krankcycles at our facility brings a new dimension to the TRACK training and fitness program says Jason Martinez, Coordinator of Health and Fitness at TRACK., “Our focus at TRACK is the healing of the mind, body and spirit and with the addition of the Krankcycles equipment, it will allow our warriors to engage in a fun physical activity during this recovery process.”

Kranking® is the first exercise program to focus on the upper body as a way to build cardio fitness. The Krankcycle is the innovation of Johnny G - the creator of Spinning®. It represents a new way to build aerobic capacity and upper body strength, burn calories and build core stability. And since it utilizes the upper body instead of the legs, it provides a unique opportunity for people with physical disabilities to train along with everyone else or independently. KrankcycleRx is an authorized distributor of the Johnny G Krankcycle by Matrix, serving those with physical disabilities and other special populations.

“The Johnny G Krankcycle by Matrix is fully wheelchair accessible and allows the wounded warriors, as well as other physically disabled individuals stay fit with a fun, engaging and challenging workout,” says Forrest Ward, the President and CEO of KrankcycleRx and a wheelchair user himself from injuries sustained while serving in the US Army overseas, “We’re delighted to be able to give back to the wounded warriors who served and fought for all of us.”
