ContentWatch, (http://contentwatch.com) the leading provider of parental control solutions and Internet filtering, today announced the addition of Greg Butterfield and Glen Mella to its Board of Directors. Butterfield is managing partner of mentor capital firm, SageCreek Partners, and Mella is president and chief operating officer of Control4, a leader in IP-based home and hospitality control systems.

Through SageCreek Partners, Greg Butterfield has been instrumental in the success of multiple technology companies, including the recent sale of Omniture to Adobe Systems for $1.8B. Prior to SageCreek, he was CEO of Altiris, and took that company public in 2002, grew revenue to $250M, and negotiated Altiris’ sale to Symantec in January 2007. Prior to Altiris, he served as EVP of worldwide sales at Vinca Corp., increasing revenue to $24M in less than three years and positioning the company for sale to Legato Systems for $92M in 1999. He has also held executive positions at Legato, Novell and WordPerfect Corporation. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, finance from Brigham Young University.

Prior to his role at Control4, Glen Mella held management positions with large, publicly traded companies, as well as early-stage technology ventures. He led marketing efforts and oversaw operations of the $500M WordPerfect division following its acquisition by Novell and was president and CEO of Found, Inc., a software company that was acquired by CRS Retail Systems. He also held executive-level positions at Triton PCS, Dial Corporation, and Frito-Lay/PepsiCo. Mella holds an MBA in marketing and finance from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in business management and finance.
