San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) January 26, 2010
In a move certain to make competitors take note, George Mack, owner of Mack Daddy Racing™ today announced the signing of the young and talented Mikey Avila for the 2010 AMA Pro Sport season.
“I feel very fortunate to be able to sponsor Mikey this year. During the search for a new team rider, I kept coming back to this young rider. Not only is he fast on two wheels, but his reputation as a personable, bright and well-spoken young man was a big part of my decision”, stated George Mack. “MDR is substantially expanding its business in 2010 and Mikey will be the perfect talent to showcase our bike and engine building capabilities.”
Contacted about the sponsorship, Mikey Avila stated, “This is like a dream come true. To be riding for Mack Daddy Racing is a special privilege. It’s going to be serious business in this, my first year of professional racing. This is my break into big time racing and it’s the most important year in my career. Having top-notch equipment and the support of George and his team is huge. This past weekend I met with my new team and we began working on our quest for the Pro Sport Championship. I can't wait.”
The 2010 AMA Professional Racing Series begins in Daytona Beach, Florida on March 3rd and ends in Prescott Arizona on October 10th, with 21 races held across the U.S.
