The US Drug Watchdog is calling on all US citizens with kidney disease to be on alert for a severe medical condition called NSF, that may be a result of Gadolinium imaging dye, used in the process of getting an MRI. The group is saying,"NSF is a national train wreck involving possibly thousands of US citizens with kidney disease, who never understood why after getting an MRI, a portion of their skin became very rough like the surface of an orange, or they have suddenly developed mobility issues." The US Drug Watchdog says, "NSF may be the least diagnosed disease related to US Citizens with kidney disease, who have been exposed to Gadolinium dye in the process of getting an MRI. We really need to get a national news story about NSF, in behalf of the 26 million US Citizens who have kidney disease. This is a really big deal." For more information please contact the US Drug Watchdog at 866-714-6466, or contact the group via thyeir web site at http://USDrugWatchdog.Com
NSF Symptoms
Nephrogenic Systemic Fibrosis (NSF) causes the skin to change, starting with reddened or darkened patches, papules, or plaques. In time, the skin may feel “woody” and the surface may resemble the texture of the peel of an orange. Nephrogenic Systemic Fibrosis (NSF) patients may experience burning, itching, or severe, and sometimes sharp pains in areas of involvement. Radiography may reveal calcifications of the soft tissue. Deep “bone pain” has been described in the hips and in the ribs. According to the US Drug Watchdog,"if you have kidney disease & you have had an MRI involving Gadolinium, please contact immediately at 866,714-6466 if you have these symptoms," or contact the group via its web site at Http://USDrugWatchdog.Com
The US Drug Watchdog is saying, "we fear there could be thousands of Americans with NSF, as a result of being injected with Gadolinium, as part of the process of getting a MRI, and they have not been properly diagnosed with NSF. If you have a friend, or family member who has kidney disease, combined with serious skin issues, please ask them if they ever had an MRI, or other scan with contrast dye, and if it is yes have them call us right away at 866-714-6466.
