Glass Mountain Records recording artist Tori Sparks launches a unique mobile version of her website, optimized specifically for mobile-web enabled smart phones and devices, including iPhone, Android, and Blackberry. Sparks is the first independent artist to offer her fans a unified mobile experience with technology provided by forward-thinking mobile web design and development concern When I'm Mobile (http://www.whenimmobile.com). The simplified, user-friendly interface allows visitors to have immediate access to streaming music and video, tour dates, info and photos, without the difficulties that arise from cumbersome downloads and awkward formatting.

"We're proud to provide a comprehensive mobile web experience for Tori Sparks' fans with the launch of ToriMobile," said Jonathan Thaler, founder of New York-based When I'm Mobile. "The mobile site gives music fans more ways to share the content provided by the artists they love. The complete functionality of the website - including the ability to download and/or purchase music on their phone - is available on the spot, at a café or a bar or a concert hall. This is a service that will benefit any band or artist, particularly an artist like Tori [Sparks], who is very involved in her fan community."

"When I'm Mobile is incredibly useful," said Sparks. "It's turned the website into a much more functional tool for me to interact with my fans. And by integrating the mobile site with my main site, WIM has saved me the hassle of dual web maintenance. The best part is that access to the mobile site is easy, at the same web address as the main website, ToriSparks.com."

Sparks is offering an exclusive free download of a previously unreleased song, "Letter to a Wretch #2" to visitors to her mobile website. The song is a duet featuring Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Shawn Mullins. Mullins is best known for the pop rock hit "Lullaby," from his 1998 breakout album Soul's Core. His single "Beautiful Wreck" shot to #1 on the Americana Radio Charts in 2008, and most recently, Mullins' song "The Foundation" (performed by rising star Zac Brown) claimed the top spot on the Country Radio Charts.

Tori will tour in support of Scorpion and her upcoming EP Come Out of the Dark throughout 2010 and 2011. Tour details, including a January 30th date at the National Underground in NYC, are available at http://www.torisparks.com.

About Tori Sparks

Tori Sparks calls Nashville home, but spends most of her time on the road in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. In the words of Performing Songwriter, her dynamic live show "sizzles with authenticity," and the Village Voice calls her "a knockout." Tori's third album, The Scorpion in the Story, is a concept album co-produced with indie rock veteran David Henry (R.E.M., Ben Folds, Josh Rouse, Cowboy Junkies). The album has created a buzz on the alternative folk scene, and recently broke the Top 100 on the Americana Radio Charts. Sparks' song "Leaving Side of Love" was featured in the Campaign to Save Paste, and currently is included in the Paste Magazine Help for Haiti/Wyclef Jean Yele Haiti initiative. About When I'm Mobile

When I'm Mobile was launched by Jonathan Thaler in 2008, with the goal of enabling organizations to present their web experience in an optimized format for mobile devices. Mr. Thaler, a long time systems developer on Wall Street, left his job in 2007 to focus on the then-untapped market of potential mobile users. When I'm Mobile has pushed the boundaries of mobile web development by exploiting the audio and visual capabilities of phones already in use, and by making current sites compatible with new smartphone models as they come to market." Data interaction between the mobile and main site allows for the main site to be updated through a mobile device, and vice versa.
