Attending celebrities and GBK helped raised over $150,000 in products and cash for charity over Golden Globes weekend: Presenting Sponsors, Hard Candy and Truth-It!, donated $100 for every celebrity that attended the Lounge, totaling in over $10,000 for the crises in Haiti by Hard Candy and over $10,000 by Truth-It! for the 5 featured charities that were part of the lounge. Additionally, GBK donated 20% of profits to the charities present and gift bags valued close to $40,000 each

Patty's Royal Dandie Miniature Pet Pigs, showcased their miniature piglets and gifted gourmet truffle salt sets to all attending guests. They also utilized the suite as an opportunity to educate people about the unique attributes and care needed for these animals, as well as screen for potential care-givers interested in the pigs (assuring that they must be vetted by the organization and agree to a mandatory in-home visit for care and training). Concerned about the welfare of these delightful piglets, Royal Dandies adheres to an adoption process similar to other organizations out there that currently adopt pigs, and if in fact the owner decides that they no longer want to keep the pig for any reason at all, Royal Dandies will take the pig back with no questions asked and continue to raise it on their 20 Acre property indefinitely. Jimmy Jean-Louis recently discovered that his parents in the Haitian capital are safe, but their home was destroyed by the earthquake and other family members died in the collapse. He returned to Haiti this weekend to reunite with his parents and offer assistants to his people in his homeland.
