Every business owner dreams of the day when they begin to grow and expand, but what they might not anticipate are the growing pains that accompany expansion. Cellular-Blowout.com certainly didn't anticipate how successful they would be in 2008, nor the customer service issues that would be a result. Now, in 2010, the company is renewing it's focus on customer service and implementing procedures to make the shopping experience better for everyone.

The popularity of smart phones, especially the iPhone and the Google Droid platform, helped launch Cellular Blowout into the mega store they are today. “We have over twelve thousand visitors shopping a day, and have had over half a million orders in the past year,” says founder and CEO David Bleeden. Even as the company began hiring and expanding, it took it's toll on the shopping experience. “Yes, we had a lot of complaints, but consider the volume. Even if just 1% of the orders in the past year had a problem, that becomes 5000 complaints.” The sheer volume is impressive, and the source of the problems the company experienced in it's early days.

Now, says Bleeden, the company is ready to tackle their former problems head on. With new financial backing as of mid-2009, they have added staff and stock to their warehouse. Cellular Blowout is also reaching out to consumers who have feedback or need assistance via the Cellular-Blowout.com blog, as well as their Facebook and Twitter accounts. “We're ready to handle the volume and want to hear from our customers. They've made us what we are today and our commitment is to provide them a better experience and the very best phones on the market!”
