Boca Raton, FL (PRWEB) January 25, 2010

Tragedy hit home for CrossTec Corporation (http://www.crosstecsoftware.com), a leading provider of software management solutions, in the aftermath of the earthquake in Haiti as they rallied to support David (DJ) Vilfranc, a Technical Support Representative whose family survived the earthquake but lost their homes and all possessions.

"I want to thank everybody at CrossTec for their support as these last several days have not been easy for me," says Vilfranc. "I just got word today that all of my aunts are okay and they have relocated to another city within Haiti. My family and I are trying to relocate my aunts to the states as soon as possible due to the lack of food, water, security, and electricity in Haiti."

Vilfranc's aunts lost their U.S. residence cards and are trying to get to the U.S. Embassy to have new ones issued. They still have a long road ahead as they need to arrange transportation to the Dominican Republic for a flight to the United States.

In addition to dealing with personal tragedy, Vilfranc requests that cash donations be made to the American Red Cross (http://www.redcross.org/).

"DJ joined CrossTec in 2008 and has become an invaluable and indispensable employee serving as the first line of support for all CrossTec products, which has given this tragedy a personal dimension for everyone who's worked alongside him for the past two years," says David Richards, CEO of CrossTec Corporation. "Out of concern for DJ, we've banded together to provide support for his family as well as the people of Haiti by participating in a food and water drive with all donations earmarked for Food for the Poor, Inc. (http://www.foodforthepoor.org). We are pleased to be joining the hundreds of companies across the region, indeed across the nation, in helping Haiti and her people recover and rebuild."
