Many of our customers have asked for a special line to remember pets that have passed away. Angel Paws™ seemed like the perfect way to celebrate the memory of those angels who are no longer with us – or to celebrate a pet that is a blessing

Pet ownership has been proven to be positive for the well-being of humans in many ways. Therapy pets help cancer patients manage the pain. Guide dogs give the humans they serve freedom and independence. We hear stories every day of heroic acts by household pets. So it’s no wonder our pets are often described as “angels on earth.”

To celebrate these “living angels,” or remember a “pet angel” who is no longer with us, Big Paw Designs® announces it new line, Angel Paws™, a collection of unique jewelry and gift items including pendants, magnets and key chains in lead free pewter or sterling silver. The line includes “Angel Cat” and “Angel Dog” versions of each of the designs. The products range from $10 - $50, depending on the design and materials used.

“Many of our customers have asked for a special line to remember pets that have passed away. Angel Paws™ seemed like the perfect way to celebrate the memory of those angels who are no longer with us – or to celebrate a pet that is an angel and a blessing to our lives each and every day. Pets are such special members of our families that I wanted to design a collection of products that would both celebrate these furry angels every day as well as provide something that could serve as a reminder of those pets who are no longer with us,” said Carol Perry, founder of Big Paw Designs® and the designer of the Angel Paws™ collection.

A recent survey of pet owners by Big Paw Designs® indicated that 47 percent of pet owners have purchased or would purchase pet themed jewelry or gift item to memorialize their pet. Fifty-six percent of respondents answered they would purchase a special frame. More than 52 percent said they would make a donation in their pet’s name to an animal shelter or rescue group.

“Pets are such special members of our families. If one of our products helps someone get through the grieving process a little easier, then I feel like we have accomplished our purpose – to help our customers honor their beloved pets - here on earth or at the rainbow bridge,” says Perry.

The collection is available online and and select boutiques and pet stores nationwide.
