InventHelp®, America's leading inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Fort Worth, Tx., has designed a waste-collection device invented for pet owners. This invention is patented.

The "Animal Waste Catcher" would facilitate the quick disposal of animal waste, which would enhance the convenience for pet owners. The contraption would eliminate the need to come into direct contact with the animal waste, which would enable the user to dispose of the animal waste in a sanitary manner. Designed to encourage pet owners to clean up after their pet, the unit would be suitable for use with a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, birds, snakes or farm animals. The product would feature a compact, easy-to-use design.

The Animal Waste Catcher" would consist of a plastic device, which would include a handle and holders containing a disposable shovel or broom and a pair of disposable gloves. The handles would feature an opening for the user's hands. The device would include a shovel and a container which would house rubber gloves. The container would be secured to the right side of the device via hook-and-loop fasteners. The base of the device would feature a scented, black plastic bag that would include a drawstring closure. Four circular, plastic screws would be inserted in the four inside corners of the bag. To dispose of the animal waste, a user would wear the provided disposable gloves and remove the shovel or broom from the holder. The individual would grip the handle of the device and use the shovel or broom to sweep the waste into the plastic bag, then pull the drawstring to close the bag and secure the waste. The user would then dispose of the bag in a proper trash receptacle. The device would be producible in a variety of sizes to accommodate animals of various sizes.
