Trinity Consultants, an environmental consulting firm with offices nationwide and in China, announces that Kathlene (Kate) Graf has joined the firm as a Managing Consultant. Ms. Graf is a chemical engineer with more than 15 years of experience including several years as the Permitting Division Manager at the Maricopa County (AZ) Air Quality Department (MCAQD). She has also worked in the cement and mineral processing industry and in consulting. Ms. Graf will be based in Trinity’s Somerset, New Jersey office, where she will manage staff and projects related to federal and state air quality regulations and permitting requirements, compliance management, and enforcement issues affecting industrial companies.

Ms. Graf’s background, which includes operations/process experience in the cement and mineral processing industry, enables her to quickly understand a client’s operation and potential emission issues. In addition, her regulatory background allows her to effectively and expeditiously resolve regulatory concerns. Ms. Graf graduated from Lehigh University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. She is a frequent author and speaker on air quality regulatory issues and an active member of the Air & Waste Management Association and the Society of Women Environmental Professionals.

According to Mike Remsberg, Regional Director responsible for Trinity’s consulting operations in the Northeast, “Kate is a wonderful addition to our consulting staff. We worked with Kate on proposed greenfield major new source review projects when she managed the MCAQD Permitting Division. Her ability to technically analyze and administratively direct teams to assure expedited review and approval of complex and challenging projects is impressive. I could not be more excited to have her as part of the Trinity team.”
