For John DiNatale, Ronco’s Executive Vice President of Operations and Mike Bucklaew, Sales Engineering Manager at Ronco, the decision to implement was easy. “Once we saw SalesDoc Architect, what it could do and how easy it was to use, we just loved it,” said Bucklaew. Today the sales engineering team at Ronco uses SalesDoc Architect to configure and price Nortel and Avaya solutions and to generate consistent proposals and other critical sales documents for these solutions. Sales engineers can quickly generate proposals that are consistent across all seventeen of Ronco’s offices – a stark contrast to life before SalesDoc Architect when content was dated, lacked consistency, and creating a complete proposal took up to eight hours or more. With SalesDoc Architect, “in a couple of minutes I can generate a table of contents and one complete document that has all the proposal information and pricing with a statement of work that all looks the same, feels the same, and is one unified package rather than a bunch of parts thrown together”, says Bucklaew. The increased accuracy has also positively impacted profit margins. Adds Bucklaew: “SalesDoc Architect has helped to eliminate margin erosion. Now the little things never get missed. We absolutely see an improvement in margins.”

CorsPro offers proposal content updates for solutions from several vendors as part of its monthly subscription services. Ronco subscribes to proposal content updates for Nortel and Avaya solutions. Bucklaew sees this service as a way to gain even greater sales efficiency: “Today with SalesDoc Architect and the proposal content subscription service, we are confident that the information is up-to-date. That’s part of the time savings: sales doesn’t have to look for brochures only to find out they are out-of-date. Proposal documents are being generated by SalesDoc Architect with current information. That’s a great feature.”
