Chicago branding agency, Tom, Dick and Harry launches a viral and social media campaign for new patented shoes that feature changeable covers that can be easily be zipped on and off to change to style and appearance of the shoes. The covers work in much the same way as a lining that is is zipped in and out of a raincoat.

Podi, Inc., Chicago maker of the world's first changeable shoe, has launched a new viral and social media campaign via Tom, Dick & Harry/Chicago.

The revolutionary Podi design, which was issued a U.S. patent late last year, allows the wearer to easily change the shoe's overall appearance by simply zipping on a new cover much the same way that a lining can be zipped in and out of a rain coat. The company also has patents pending in several European countries.

Podi CEO, and inventor of the concept, David Curry, said, "There's clearly a growing interest in customization across many markets and it just made sense to me that fashion, and especially shoes, should be no different. We are delighted to be working with TD&H and our initial efforts have already created quite a buzz. The entertaining film TD&H created has just launched but has already attracted thousands of views on YouTube. This idea clearly has traction."

A private company established in 2004 Podi, Inc. sells exclusively via podiwear.com but is currently exploring additional distribution channels.
