Highland Park, NJ (PRWEB) February 1, 2010
Ron Shuali, founder of Shua Life Skills, an educational school consulting company, and author of the new book, Building the 21st Century Child: An Instruction Manual, has delivered a series of presentations for The Goddard Schools, a national franchisor who provides children with a nurturing environment and a curriculum that encourages learning through play. These presentations were given at the regional teacher events around the country. They are based on the principles of creating powerful choices and empowering children and adults in a school environment to make positive, effective, successful choices. The program was so well received that the Goddard Schools have asked Ron to repeat his program at their corporate training on February 15th, 2010 in King of Prussia, PA in front of over 400 educators.
There are many books on parenting, teaching and behavior management that only give broad theoretical ideas based on old ways of thinking. Building the 21st Century Child is unique as it comes from a completely different perspective that opens the reader’s mind to new possibilities for helping children where they could not before. The book offers effective mental and physical programs that create wonderful opportunities for parents and teachers to have breakthroughs on how to teach and raise children. The book is an enlightening journey for our troubled hero Julia, her students, and her own children, as we follow her through an adventure of teaching and parenting turbulence. Throughout the chapters are lessons, built on the Shua Structure System’s unique interactive and fun system, toward building a child’s respect for others, discipline techniques, self-confidence, and health. There are strategic “boxes of learnings” at the end of each chapter.
Ron Shuali, the author, has devoted years to studying philosophy, psychology, and other modalities in order to understand the mind, with a special focus on children and their development. His book targets effective techniques to interrupt disrespectful behaviors at home and in schools. How to use emotionless discipline to stop negative behaviors verses positive reinforcement for positive behaviors.
“I wrote this book to be the first tool to reversing some of the largest problems in children and society today.” Ron Shuali, author and founder of Shua Life Skills, said. “Those problems are a lack of discipline, respect and bullying.” Ron explains, “Children back talk their parents. Teachers are angry. Students are being medicated. Gym classes are disappearing. Book bags are destroying our children's backs. Metal detectors are being installed in schools. Parents are blaming teachers. Teachers are blaming parents. Both blame the government, yet society continues to get worse.”
A generation ago, children were healthier, respectful, and safer. To stop this downward spiral society must start with the youngest children, their parents, and teachers first. Ron states “We all suffer the consequences. We must take control for our children to survive. This book is the first step to saving our society and our future!”
“It was at the point when my preschool teacher was ready to give up on teaching that I called upon Ron. Ron Shuali’s philosophy not only gave her the tools to re-establish the balance of the class, but the interpretation to keep teaching. She loves teaching preschool now!” said Holly Guido, Director, The Goddard School, Flemington, NJ.
“I have observed Ron conduct training for early childhood educators that left them motivated and excited. His presentation style and spot on information resulted in noticeable improvement the very next day in classroom management and esteem building by the teachers.” Expressed Michael Capp, Manager of Curriculum and Compliance, Goddard Systems, King of Prussia, PA
