HCMWorks, Inc. a leading provider of Indirect Services Procurement Solutions, announced the commission of a survey of North American Procurement Professionals to gain insight into the Indirect Service Procurement market. A primary goal was to see if the trend towards better management of indirect services was still emerging as a strong growth area within corporations.

HCMWorks retained the services of an independent marketing communications company, Integrated MARCOM, to conduct the survey during the fourth quarter of 2009.

In order to gain insight into the Indirect Service Procurement market, the survey targeted executives at the manager level and above within the Procurement/Strategic Sourcing department of companies with over $1 Billion in total revenue. Almost 100 people from the United States and Canada responded.
Tara Lamboley of Integrated MARCOM was pleased to get such an enthusiastic response from the survey. “We believe this response demonstrates that the topic of indirect expenditures is one that is becoming more relevant to large organizations.”

“Even though we’re beginning to see signs of a recovery, companies will continue to be focused on ways to reduce operational expenditures.
