MyWebYellow.com, a new entry in the online yellow page market and its technology partner TCN, are pleased to announce the allowance of their patent application by the US Patent and Trademark Office. The allowed patent application (U.S. Patent Application 11/013,098) covers a way to dynamically link and display information captured from a company website to associated records, such as contact information (i.e. name, address, and phone number)

"The methods claimed in TCN's allowed patent application are relevant to many fields, but are particularly useful in enabling better tools, solutions, and user experiences in the yellow pages and search engine markets," states Chris Miller, the patent agent who successfully assisted in achieving this milestone.

"It took thousands of hours of research and development to commercialize the technology covered by our recently allowed patent application," states Jim Cavagnaro, CEO. "We could not be more excited about the future… while this is in its infancy, the applications are endless. This technology simplifies communications and knowledge management. We can search multiple databases from disparate systems and display information in a common format all while showing who originated the information. This has applications where huge amounts of data need to be searched and organized, such as with Homeland Security or aggregating customer data from multiple databases. We are actively looking for strategic partners."

Applied to the IYP industry, MyWebYellow captures information from the merchants' websites that provides visitors a more robust search. "Think of this site as a yellow pages married to a search engine" states Jim Cavagnaro the visionary behind this new Website. "By spidering the companies' Websites on a regular basis we can maintain the accuracy and relevance of your search results" he added.

MyWebYellow offers users an intuitive yet powerful interface that delivers finely-tuned, highly accurate search results. With nation-wide search capability, MyWebYellow.com enables users to search for exactly what they want--not just category or business name.

In addition, a zip code search option gives true "neighborhood" results, and eliminates the need for users to sort through pages of irrelevant listings.

By adding the zip code after the name of the product or service, the consumer is delivered even more relevant results. For example Pizza -- Rochester NY yields 480 results. Pizza 14623 --Rochester NY yields 22 hyper-local results--bringing customers closer to the products they want in the location they prefer.

By clicking on Show Details, the user can find maps, coupons, videos, enhanced profiles, brands and links to blogs, e-commerce stores and social networking sites for those businesses.
MyWebYellow.com also includes a link to the listing's website. To enable easy return to MyWebYellow.com directory, the website links open on a separate tab which eliminates confusing navigation.

Additionally, the merchant has the capability of enhancing the listing to include search terms (key words) to increase awareness of the products, skills and services they provide.

MyWebYellow.com is simple to use, fast, and doesn't burden users with inaccurate results.
