The Center for Systems Management, a leading firm providing Systems Engineering and Project Management training and consulting, today announced that the company's Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Dr. Kevin Forsberg has been recognized by the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) with their highest level of certification, an Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP).
The new ESEP certification is targeted towards systems engineers with significant work experience and demonstrated systems engineering accomplishment. To achieve this prominent level of certification, candidates career accomplishments, experience and education is reviewed and qualified. It is an honor that has been achieved by less than half of one percent of all Certified System Engineer Professionals (CSEP).

Dr. Forsberg has been a strong supporter of the INCOSE certification program for systems engineering professionals since its launch in 2004. Since 2004 over 400 systems engineering professionals have achieved certification, giving credence to the international acceptance this program has received throughout the systems engineering community.
Dr. Kevin Forsberg is a renowned expert in systems engineering and a leader in CSEP certification. He is an INCOSE fellow, a recipient of the INCOSE Pioneer Award, 2008 Chair of the INCOSE Certification Advisory Group, and co-editor of INCOSE handbooks v2a, 3.0 and 3.1. Celebrated in the industry with over 50 years experience in Systems Engineering, Program Management, and consulting to business and government, Dr. Forsberg’s efforts have encompassed research projects, to development efforts, through to full-scale production implementation.
Dr. Forsberg co-authored two books on Project Management: Visualizing Project Management, now in its third edition and Communicating Project Management. He has developed and delivered a multitude of project management and systems engineering courses. He has published over seventy journal articles and presented papers at PMI Symposiums and INCOSE conferences, including the introduction of the Vee Model at the National Council on Systems Engineering (Now INCOSE) international conference in 1991.
