Von Strasser Winery now accepts reservations for tours and tasting events via their website, their Facebook page, http://www.VinoVisit.com and the VinoVisit Marketing Network™ of partner sites.

VinoVisit.com is pleased to announce the addition of von Strasser Winery to the VinoVisit.com Network. Visitors to wine country can now make fast and free online reservations for von Strasser’s wine tastings and tours. Visitors can choose between a Vineyard Tour and Patio Tasting, and Futures Tasting.

“As a boutique, family-owned winery, most of us wear several hats. VinoVisit offers a way for small wineries to cover more ground with their automated reservations and easy-to-use dashboard and calendar,” says Mark Skinner, VP and General Manager for von Strasser Winery. “We’ve always been committed to providing the very best visitor experience, so when our team learned about VinoVisit, we were keen to test it out.”

“And test it they did,” says Bob Iannetta, EVP Sales at VinoVisit. “It was important to us that our Visitor Relationship Management tools be easy to use, and customized for winery use. Mark was an active and committed beta tester for VinoVisit, directing several refinements to our feature set. One suggestion was to make it quick and easy for winery staff to cancel and reschedule tasting events on the fly. Now it can happen with a couple of mouse clicks. We’re just really happy to have a client like von Strasser—and the wine is also pretty great!”

About Von Strasser

Founded in the spring of 1990, the von Strasser estate and vineyards is a family-owned and operated boutique winery. The vineyards were originally planted by Andre Tchelistcheff in 1970. Their production capacity is around 5,000 cases. Located off the beaten path on Diamond Mountain, the winery is a barn that was built in the late 1880s. It has been remodeled into a modern winemaking facility while retaining its working-ranch charm.

To take full advantage of the hillside location and to better control the variables of winemaking, the von Strassers added caves to their property. These caves are included in the winery tours. Often they are led by the owner Rudy von Strasser, who is also the winemaker. Known for their big Cabs, von Strasser offers single-vineyard bottling, rare in the marketplace. They are also the only winery in the US producing a Gruner Veltliner.
