Award from U.S. Government For Purchase of Cargo and Vehicle Inspection Systems

Rapiscan Systems, a leading supplier of security inspection systems, today announced that it has been awarded an approximate $25 million contract from the United States Government for the purchase of multiple advanced security screening systems from the Company’s cargo and vehicle inspection (CVI) product line. Under the terms of the agreement, the systems will be used for overseas security applications.

Rapiscan Systems line of Cargo and Vehicle Inspection products provides comprehensive non-intrusive screening of cargo containers, trucks, light vehicles and cars.
