Brad came to CATZ as a sports performance client and physical therapy patient
Austin, TX (PRWEB) February 3, 2010
CATZ Sports Performance & Physical Therapy Center in Austin, Texas is pleased to announce that Brad Kassell, former University of North Texas football star and NFL player for the Tennessee Titans and New York Jets, has joined the company as President and Partner.
In his new role, Mr. Kassell will assume operating control of the business and lead CATZ through its growth plans in the Austin market. He will work closely with current CATZ Austin owners Dirk Buikema, who will assume the role of Partner of CATZ Austin and CEO of Hyper Wear® LLC, and Christie Powell, Partner and Director of Physical Therapy. Marcy Kassell, Mr. Kassell's spouse, and a graduate of North Texas University with a degree in Marketing, will assume the role of Director of Marketing.
"Brad came to CATZ as a sports performance client and physical therapy patient," stated Dirk Buikema, "Our physical therapists helped him rehabilitate his knee on an accelerated schedule using our Alter-G anti-gravity treadmill. Once Brad was healthy, he started training with CATZ performance coaches and quickly got back to full strength. We are thrilled that he has joined our team and we welcome him as a leader in our business."
"I am excited to be part of CATZ and working with Dirk and Christie," Mr. Kassell stated, "in all my years of football speed, strength and agility training at the college and professional level I never had felt as strong and fast as I did after working out at CATZ. The professional strength coaches, physical therapists and sports massage therapists combined with state of the art equipment like the SandBell and the Alter-G anti-gravity treadmill makes a big difference for athletes, as it did for me following my knee surgery. I look forward to working with athletes and their families throughout Austin as we expand."
