Two Editions Share Same Industry-Leading Diagnostics Used by World's Top OEMs

The new diagnostics are based on the same tests that are bundled on millions of new Windows 7 systems.

Global system health leader PC-Doctor Inc. today announced two new editions of its PC-Doctor Service Center hardware troubleshooting kit for repair professionals that are the first to fully support the newly released Microsoft Windows 7 operating system. The company also announced an expanded reseller program.

Both editions of PC-Doctor Service Center include the same industry-leading Windows and bootable diagnostics used by the world's top PC companies in manufacturing, support and service; the premier edition also includes additional hardware devices for troubleshooting systems that will not boot as well as Windows PE diagnostics.

New diagnostic capabilities include support for the newest chipsets based on Intel iCore and AMD Phenom microprocessors, improved memory testing for up to 96 gigabytes, testing of individual hard drives within a RAID configuration, new video testing of NVIDIA's CUDA architecture, and specific Windows 7 tests. The Windows software adds a command-line tool to automate testing and to customize how testing is performed and results are reported. The bootable diagnostics have been given an enhanced startup experience and the ability to save test overlays.

"Service organizations and professional PC technicians can trust PC-Doctor to deliver the most up-to-date tests because of the work we do for the world's top PC manufacturers," said Kim Seymour, enterprise sales manager. "The new diagnostics are based on the same tests that are bundled on millions of new Windows 7 systems."

Designed to expand PC-Doctor's global diagnostic leadership, the new reseller program increases the discount available to interested companies with a strong regional presence or specific industry experience. Companies interested in reselling PC-Doctor Service Center should contact (775) 336-4000.
