Jason Mraz, Alice in Chains, and Dennis Keene Grammy Nominees are London Chic

Simon Carter strikes Grammy gold three times with the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles California. Jason Mraz, Alice in Chains, and Dennis Keene were all London Chic in Simon Carter London and West End by Simon Carter suits, tuxedos, and signature furnishings and accessories.

Music legends Alice in Chains were nominated for "Best Hard Rock Performance, Dennis Keene was nominated for "Best Choral Performance" (Dennis Keene- Conductor), and Jason Mraz is nominated in two categories for "Best Male Pop Vocal Performance and "Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals.

Jason Mraz walked away with two Grammys Sunday night. One for Best Male Pop Performance for “Make it Mine” and one for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals for “Lucky” a duet with Colbie Cailat. Jason not only took away the Grammys, he also got the critic’s node in his personal choice for style. His Red Carpet Report Card gave him a very impressive B+ for his Eco friendly Simon Carter suit.

Jason was born June 23, 1977, is an American singer-songwriter, born and raised in Mechanicsville, Virginia. Mraz released his debut album Waiting for My Rocket to Come, which contained the hit single “The Remedy”, in 2002 but it was not until the release of his second Album Mr. A-Z, he achieved commercial success. 2009 Jason received his first Grammy nomination for Song of the Year “I’m Yours”. Jason’s sound is changing the current music scene.    

Alice in Chains an American rock band formed in Seattle Washington in 1987 by guitarist Jerry Cantrell and vocalist Layne Staley is widely associated with grunge music, as the band’s sound incorporates heavy metal and acoustic elements. Since its formation, Alice in Chains has released four studio albums, three EPs and two live albums, four compilations and two DVDs. In 2005 with a new lead vocalist, William DuVall, Alice In Chains released “Black Gives Way to Blue” catapulting the band directly onto the Red Carpet with a Grammy nod after 14 years on the scene.

Dennis Keene is Artistic Director and conductor of the Voices of Ascension Chorus and Orchestra. Known internationally through his many concerts and recordings with Voices of Ascension, his regular guest appearances as conductor and clinician, and his work as Artistic Director of the Dennis Keene Choral Festival, he has emerged as one of leading choral conductors in the world today, “the younger leader most widely touted to pick up the mantle of Robert Shaw,” according to The New York Times. Recognized early as an exceptional organist, Dennis Keene began musical studies and performing in his native Los Angeles. He moved to New York City to study at the Juilliard School, where he earned the BM, MM, and DMA degrees and the coveted Gaston Dethier Organ Prize as a student of Vernon de Tar. His passion for the finest in professional choral music can be traced to his early work as organist with Gregg Smith, Roger Wagner and Margaret Hillis. In addition to his work with Voices of Ascension and the Dennis Keene Choral Festival, he continues as Organist and Choirmaster of Church of the Ascension in New York City.
