Full Steam Marketing & Design creates multilingual DVD to educate and inspire international Monterey Bay Aquarium visitors.

Full Steam Marketing & Design today announced the creation of a promotional DVD for Monterey Bay Aquarium that showcases its spectacular ocean life exhibits for international tour bus audiences in their own native language.

Originally developed by Full Steam in English only, Monterey Bay Aquarium was looking to extend the reach of the DVD to core international visitor groups, which required localization in French, Spanish, German and Mandarin.

The three-minute DVD features vibrant and informative footage of the Aquarium’s vast array of exhibits, both below and above water, and introduces the visitor to the amenities, educational programs and ongoing conservation activities of one of the nation’s most popular tourist attractions.

In order to accommodate the different lengths and rhythms of the translations, each video component was individually edited and carefully timed to maintain the quality of output and the natural cadence of each language. The result is a versatile tool that adeptly accommodates the Aquarium’s need to communicate with its multi-national audience.
