All weather data is being provided by The Weather Channel, whose weather.co.uk site sees more than 1 million visitors each month, according to Comscore, July 2009.

“The enhanced online section brings together the weather expertise of The Weather Channel and the reach of AOL,” said Pascal Racheneur, director of international for The Weather Channel Interactive. “This is a win-win for both companies and a win for consumers in the UK who will receive a better overall user experience.”

In addition, the enhanced section includes an extensive map collection for both UK and international locations.
