Coro Realty Advisors' Buckhead Mixed-Use Community is Sighted for its Commitment to Green Living & Sustainable Development

Tremont City Living, a new rental community located in the heart of Buckhead, was recognized by the Georgia Home Builder’s Association (HBA) and Southface for its commitment to sustainable development and ‘green’ living. The new rental community, which was developed by Coro Realty Advisors, LLC, began leasing last year and is presently 70% rented.

The recognition for the best new multi-family project was made at an awards banquet on January 29th that marked the 10th anniversary of EarthCraft development in the Southeast. Tremont was praised for having achieved more points then any other multi-family project by incorporating its sustainable features which include energy saving construction, appliances and systems, as well as a commitment to an ongoing sustainable lifestyle.

Patti Pearlberg, Vice President and Asset Manager for Coro Realty Advisors, LLC, said, “We are very proud of this recognition and particularly its importance to our residents. Having the EarthCraft Home Certification gives us a tremendous advantage in leasing these homes, but most importantly reaffirms our commitment to responsible building and providing the best homes for our residents. Pearlberg also added, “We are very flattered that we not only were recognized for our efforts, but surpassed other fine Atlanta Earthcraft communities to take the top ranking for the multi-family category.”

From the inception and planning of Tremont, Coro was committed to using new “green” technologies and systems. Working with the development team, which included Nelson Architecture and Hogan Construction, Tremont was specifically designed to meet the Earthcraft designation. Because of the early planning and foresight the entire process added less than one percent to the total cost of the project which was $24 million.

Upon presenting the recognition, David Ellis, executive vice president of the Greater Atlanta HBA and Dennis Creech, executive director of Southface, said that, “We are very proud of the work our EarthCraft professionals do in the Southeast, recognizing that EarthCraft buildings address the unique energy, water and climate conditions prevalent in this region of the country.”

Tremont City Living is located at the intersection of Roswell and Habersham Roads placing it in one of the most walk-able communities in Atlanta. It is in close proximity to the city’s best shops, restaurants and entertainment. The boutique community of only 78 homes offers 34 distinctive home plans including both flats and townhomes --many with street front entrances, an extremely appealing feature for residents. In addition, the community includes boutique retail space. Luxury amenities include: gated private parking, an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a private garden terrace, a club house and fitness center, as well as expanded tenant services.
