Paul T. Murphy Insurance Agency, Inc. located in Malden, MA is honored as Marketing Agency of the Month in the February issue of Rough Notes Magazine. The article, “A Little Help From his Friends,” tells the story of how Mr. Murphy and his staff successfully adapted to a number of legislative and economic challenges to become one of the fastest growing agencies in Massachusetts.
Strategic relationships have been vital to the success of Paul Murphy Insurance. When Massachusetts passed legislation changing the rules for how consumers could shop for car insurance, Mr. Murphy consulted his friend and fellow Strategic Independent Agents Alliance (SIAA) member Nick San Filippo, who had confronted a similar situation. Knowing ahead of time what to expect allowed Murphy’s agency to prepare for the worst.
Part of the preparation involved investing in a digital insurance marketing system to upgrade less effective methods that were currently in place. A mortgage broker friend introduced Paul to Tim Sawyer of Astonish Results (AR) and within months, his agency became AR’s first ever client in the insurance industry.
