To celebrate the grand opening of his vision center, Dr. Abrams is donating 5% of the cost of every procedure to the relief efforts in Haiti. He is also planning on giving away incredible discounts on cosmetic surgery, cosmetic products, designer sunglasses, and hosting a gala event.

Dr. James Abrams of the new Abrams LASIK Vision Center in San Jose is announcing the grand opening of his practice in March 2010. To celebrate the grand opening, Dr. Abrams has decided to donate 5% of the cost of every procedure to the relief efforts currently working in earthquake –stricken Haiti.

Dr. Abrams has recently taken over the now closed LasikPlus facility as the new owner and director and plans to provide all of Silicon Valley with great patient care, prices, and LASIK results. For a limited time, regardless of the procedure performed within his center, Dr. Abrams and staff will ensure that 5% of the cost of the procedure is donated directly to charities working in Haiti.

Along with the substantial donations to Haiti charities, Dr. Abrams also plans to make himself known in the community by offering all of his former LasikPlus clients incredible discounts on cosmetic procedures, cosmetic products and designer sunglasses, as well as hosting a Grand Opening Gala in early March where he will have food, prize drawings, and staff on the premises to answer any questions about laser vision correction that guest may have.

“I am grateful to have been allowed the opportunity to open my own LASIK practice in San Jose, and my staff and I plan on leading Silicon Valley in providing the most outstanding high-definition vision to our patients,” said Dr. Abrams. “We want to share this success with those less fortunate.”

Abrams LASIK Vision Center is the result of LasikPlus of San Jose closing its doors and one of its resident surgeons taking over the location with a new name and new vision. Dr. James Abrams has over 30 years of ophthalmology and LASIK experience. He personally performed the first refractive vision correction in San Mateo County in 1984, and the first LASIK procedure in San Mateo county in 1997. Abrams LASIK Vision Center offers Custom Wavefront All-Laser LASIK and PRK, Traditional All-Laser LASIK, as well as a wide range of lens implants for individuals who do not qualify for the traditional LASIK procedure.
