Glyph Language Services will be offering a free training workshop on iPhone App Localization best practices in March 2010. Two equivalent sessions are planned to accommodate clients in Europe and the US. For Europe the event will take place on March 9 at 15:00 Central European Time. The US event is scheduled for March 11 at 13:00 Pacific Standard Time. The training expands on a talk given last year by Glyph CEO Aaron Schliem at Localization World Silicon Valley.
Participants in this one-hour training will learn how to set up iPhone app UIs and source code to enable localization, how to coordinate with a localization vendor to ensure an efficient localization workflow, and what special considerations need to be made with regard to mobile app testing. Technical descriptions will be relevant to the SDK framework while taking into account broader considerations and insights related to the global mobile content market.
