We are thrilled with the tremendous success the social media platforms have brought to our brand and so glad we utilized such popular tools
Orange County, Calif. (Vocus) February 6, 2010
In early January 2010, New Zealand-based Natural Being Skincare employed social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter to introduce their brand and 9 SKU line to the U.S. marketplace, interact with consumers and generate web traffic and sales. The certified natural skincare line has quickly attracted followers due to its affordable price point, clean packaging and pure ingredients.
Through creative social media challenges and constant interaction with followers and fans, Natural Being has grown sales by 70% in just a short amount of time. “We are thrilled with the tremendous success the social media platforms have brought to our brand and so glad we utilized such popular tools,” said Debbie Wade-West, Vice President at VMI Inc based in Irvine, California, the exclusive distributor of Natural Being Skincare in the U.S.
In a recent Facebook promotion, Natural Being Skincare fans were asked to participate in a 28-day skincare challenge to test the product and provide Natural Being Skincare with feedback.
“The suggestions and feedback we have received have been truly invaluable,” said West. “These social media platforms are based on sharing and makes the concept of focus groups a little easier to manage and implement.”
