Appistry serves government and commercial customers with its enterprise-grade cloud computing software. The company's flagship product, Appistry CloudIQ Platform, defines the next generation of platform-as-a-service (PaaS), allowing enterprises to take full advantage of cloud computing in private, public and hybrid cloud environments. Appistry’s platform helps customers reduce the time, cost and complexity traditionally associated with delivering robust, cloud-enabled applications.

“We’re very pleased to be recognized among CRN’s 20 Coolest Cloud Platform Vendors; this is an exciting follow-on to an award-winning year at Appistry,” said Sam Charrington, vice president of product management and marketing for Appistry. “In order to take full advantage of cloud computing, an enterprise’s applications must be ready, and cloud platforms like Appistry CloudIQ simplify the process of getting there. CRN’s recognition of this critical segment of cloud computing further validates our belief that 2010 will be ‘The year of PaaS’ for the enterprise.”

The “100 Coolest Cloud Computing Products” list was based on nominations from solution providers rating technology, channel influence, effectiveness and visibility along with business and sales impact. A panel of Everything Channel Editors made the final selections.

Winners were announced online at http://www.channelweb.com and are featured in the January 25th issue of CRN.
