Howden Buffalo, Inc. opened their new Midwest Regional Service Center. Their new facility provides their customers and sales force with new capabilities that will go above and beyond their expectations including facility visits, upgraded services and trainings, and quick shipping.

Howden Buffalo opens the doors to their new Midwest Regional Service Center in Canton, Michigan! The new service center combines expanded capabilities, including 80,00 sq footage, 50-ton cranes, 60,000# balancing and upgraded power, with the services formerly provided by the Dearborn, MI facility. This is a world class facility that will enhance services and capabilities tremendously; helping them serve their customer’s needs faster and better than ever before!

The Midwest Regional Service Center’s Operations Manager, Paul Booth, describes the new facility as “A strategic opportunity to demonstrate to both customers and employees that Howden is committed to supporting the market, while providing a work place that is safe, efficient, and desirable for employees. The new facility also provides space with an expandable infrastructure, to take advantage of other product work or further development of existing products.”

With the opening of the service center, Howden Buffalo customers will experience improved turnaround times and quick shipping. This allows their equipment to be finished with the same quality and expertise Howden Buffalo is known for in less time. Upgraded training and factory service technicians, coupled with 24/7/365 emergency service and in-house inventories makes Howden Buffalo the only call when service is needed for air and gas handling products. Howden Buffalo understands that when a piece of equipment breaks, their customer loses money every minute that machine is down. With the new facility located within ten hours of 80% of their fans, Howden Buffalo uses urgent care and knowledge to get the equipment up and running both fast and correctly.

The new facility will also provide capabilities that go beyond their product. Howden Buffalo is partnering with their customers and sales representatives by inviting them to the facility. Here, at the facility, there is a variety of activities they will be able to take part in. The new building houses large meeting and presentation rooms, complete with teleconference capabilities to accommodate customers both near and far. From here customers and sales representatives will view and receive dynamic presentations on products and services by the knowledgeable Howden Buffalo Team. Training rooms will be available to allow sales representatives to train for solutions based products and services as they become available. These in-house trainings and seminars continue to keep their sales force sharp, knowledgeable, and able to answer and serve all customers.

A significant way Howden Buffalo is partnering with their customers is by introducing the idea of visiting the rebuild or manufacture as it happens. While a rebuild or new product is being engineered they invite all customers to come join them at the Midwest Regional Service Center to see the process. This allows customers to see how efficiently and safely Howden Buffalo operates, while maintaining the expertise that has become expected of the international company.

At the same time, their knowledgeable sales force is also being upgraded this year. As scheduled meetings and webinars are being held, sales representatives are learning more about Howden Buffalo and their capabilities than ever before. Sales representatives are able to answer all of their customers’ questions and concerns regarding Howden Buffalo products, and the knowledge base is only expected to grow.
