DSS also attained designation as a Microsoft Small Business Specialist. To attain this new designation, DSS has demonstrated expertise in planning and building solutions for small businesses. As part of the Small Business Specialist Community, DSS will receive a rich set of benefits from Microsoft, including access to training specifically designed for the small-business industry.

As one of the requirements for attaining Gold Certified Partner status, DSS had to declare a Microsoft Competency. Microsoft Competencies are designed to help differentiate a partner’s capabilities with specific Microsoft technologies to customers looking for a particular type of solution. DSS has achieved the Information Worker Solutions Competency, Virtualization Competency, Server Platform Competency, and Advanced Infrastructure Solutions Competency.
