IMULAN Initiates a New Pet Owner Program for FeLV and FIV Cats

IMULAN BioTherapeutics is offering a new pet owner rebate for LTCI until May 1, 2010. LTCI is the only approved product for Feline Leukemia Virus and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus infections. IMULAN BioTherapeutics, LLC (IMULAN) is offering a new pet owner rebate for Lymphocyte T-Cell Immunomodulator (LTCI) until May 1, 2010. LTCI is the only approved product for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV, Cat Aids) infections. A rebate of $30 will be given for every three dose pack and $75 for every ten dose pack ordered directly from IMULAN. Rebate details can be found on the company website at http://www.IMULAN.com.

This owner rebate program will help ease the financial pressure to owners when treating cats with FeLV and/or FIV. In addition, many owners directly pay for LTCI through their veterinarian using their own credit card. All LTCI orders are shipped only to a licensed veterinarian, but IMULAN will send the rebate check directly to the pet owner.

Feline leukemia virus and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus are two prevalent retroviruses in cats. Infections with FeLV or FIV often result in immune dysfunction, anemia, low lymphocyte counts and increased risk of opportunistic infections. FeLV can be associated with certain forms of feline cancer, including leukemia and lymphoma.
