I’ve gotten to better understand how much my personal life tracks with the lives of those around me. I’ve taken all of that in, and laid down tracks that I think people will connect with, since mmy songs describe all of our lives." - Reggie G

The first two singles from the album, “I Stay On It”, and “Whatever Kind U Like” which have garnered interest from major network shows such as CSI and The Forgotten, showcase the talent of this Dallas, TX based hip hop artist, who is breaking out of the traditional genres of music with his take on hip hop, and shattering the stereotypes traditionally held of hip hop and rap artists. Holding a Masters Degree in Economics, Reggie leads by example, teaching macro- and micro-economics at Paul Quinn and Navarro Colleges in Dallas, TX.

“I Stay On It”, featuring Grammy Award winning rapper, Chamillionaire, is already climbing the billboard charts. Young, smart and incredibly talented, Reggie G is redefining the traditional fan boundaries when it comes to hip hop music. Having spent the last several years building his fan base and perfecting his music in Dallas, Reggie G is now ready to branch out and bring his music to the rest of the United States. The single can be downloaded at iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon and Myspace, among others, for $.99.

An artist committed to bringing relevant music to people, Reggie noticed that there was a disconnect between what was being said in the musical lyrics of everyday hip hop and what was happening in his life, and those lives of people around him. With this album, Reggie wants to continue to make music relevant to the people, to touch their everyday lives and be an artist who understands the lives of his fans.

“Having worked on this album for some time, I’ve gotten to better understand how much my personal life tracks with the lives of those around me,” said Reggie G. “I’ve taken all of that in, and laid down tracks that I think people will connect with, since my songs describe all of our lives,” Reggie continued.

The album, due to be released on February 23, 2010 is a compilation of some of Reggie G’s most forward thinking and catchy sounds, and is sure to make waves in the hip hop world, featuring the incredible versatility of this break out artist. “I Stay on it”, produced by Corbin Corona, and engineered by Grammy Award winning engineer Tre Nagella, is the jewel in this outstanding album.
