With a variety of human resource systems and technologies that constituted their Human Resources system and a variety of internal HR processes, the additive company chose to migrate from PeopleSoft to SAP to harmonize their HR processes, data and reporting. 27 AspireHR consultants combined with a client team based in Cleveland, Ohio and Rouen, France logged over 19,500 hours to implement an SAP HR solution including: Organizational Management, Personal Administration, Benefits, Compensation, Employee Self Service, Manager Self Service, Business Information, Learning Solutions, and specifically for France the Time Management, Payroll, and Training Needs Management modules, which is rarely seen in the United States. These united modules achieved the desired end-result that grants employees and managers greater access to information and streamline HR and business processes on a global scale.
This Go-Live is the culmination of an effort that began for the French branch in July 2008 and for the US branch in October 2009 and combined the requirements, design, and configuration for 32 countries in English, French, and German. The new system converted 250,000+ pieces of legacy data from 1934 onwards. 43 interfaces, 6 rounds of conversion tests and 60 different scenario tests narrowed the team’s margin of error to less than 2 percent.
