This Valentine's Day weekend, the Center for Spiritual Living Orange County, which has recently moved to Mission Viejo, Calif, is opening its doors to the community to provide laughter, warmth, fun, and the ability to recommit ourselves to our passions with both the comedic play "Love Letters," performed by the co-ministers on the 12th, and a very touching ceremony during Sunday service on Valentine's Day. Revs. Sandy and Kirk Moore to Perform "Love Letters" on Feb. 12

We are thrilled with our new home in Mission Viejo,” said Rev. Sandy Moore, “Attending one of these events or our invigorating Sunday services will offer people a great set of friends and a spiritual home in a positive and uplifting environment.

The Center for Spiritual Living Orange County, a united spiritual community dedicated to recognizing God in All, has recently moved from San Juan Capistrano to Mission Viejo. The new Center was built thanks to the love and generous support of more than 200 members. The Center’s leaders, Reverends Sandy and Kirk Moore, have focused on the Valentine’s Day weekend to celebrate the love of the community with two separate but very unique special events.

On Feb. 12, the Center, located at 25782 Obrero Dr., Unit D in Mission Viejo, will be transformed into a theater. To the delight of the Center’s community, Reverend Sandy and Reverend Kirk, who have themselves been married for 34 years, will perform the well-known, Pulitzer Prize-nominated two-act play by A.R. Gurney, “Love Letters,” about the trials, joys and tribulations of a couple married over 50 years. Refreshments will accompany the play. Cost per ticket is $15.

On Valentine's Day, Reverend Sandy Moore will conduct a special "Rekindling the Flame" ceremony during the morning service. This is a ritual that universally applies to everyone (partners or singles) to deepen our true love for each other and ourselves. This ceremony celebrates the remembrance of the people we cherish--past, present, future or ideal--and the precious qualities we share that empower our lives. Join us at 10 a.m. for this transforming celebration of love! A reception follows the service.

For more information or to purchase a ticket in advance for “Love Letters,” please call the Center at 949.481.4040.

“We are thrilled with our new home in Mission Viejo and hope that people come to experience the play or the commitment ceremony,” said Rev. Sandy Moore, “Attending one of these events or our invigorating Sunday services will offer people a great set of friends and a spiritual home in a positive and uplifting environment.”
