UVA selected Collection Manager as part of a technology update designed to increase patient safety via improvements to accuracy and timeliness in the specimen collection processes.
Collection Manager™ is a module of Sunquest’s popular Sunquest Laboratory™ solution. Collection Manager delivers a handheld, positive patient identification application that verifies the patient, the lab test order, provides relevant clinical information to the care provider regarding the specimens to be collected, and prints labels—all at the point of care.
