USGlass magazine readers point to FireLite® ceramic glass as the most noteworthy fire-rated glass and glazing product of the year.

In a late 2009 poll, USGlass magazine readers selected FireLite® ceramic glass from Technical Glass Products (TGP) as the fire-rated product of the year. FireLite ceramic glass is available in a range of product make-ups, with fire ratings up to three hours. It passes the mandatory hose stream test, is listed by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc., can be ordered with a factory-applied film or laminate for impact safety, and is available in insulated glass units. FireLite is clear and wireless, and comes in two different surface finishes, premium grade and standard grade.
