Recent college graduates seeking to improve their marketability and understanding of the business world are encouraged to apply for George Fox University’s Full-Time MBA program by the program’s early registration deadline of Thursday, April 1. Individuals who apply by that date will have their application fees waived.
Those interested may apply online at apply.georgefox.edu. Informational meetings are scheduled from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 4, at George Fox’s Portland Center location, 12753 S.W. 68th Ave., and again on Tuesday, April 6, on the Newberg campus.
To guarantee a spot in the August cohort, prospective students must submit their application by May 15. All applications after that date will be accepted until the enrollment limit is reached. The final application deadline for the program is July 1.
Classes for the one-year program begin on Aug. 17 and end in June of 2011. Financial aid is available.
The Full-Time MBA is designed for students who have graduated from a regionally accredited college or university within the last five years. The 11-month, 42-semester-hour program employs an ethics-based, holistic curriculum with a global perspective, according to program director Jeff VandenHoek.
Classes meet on the university’s Newberg, Ore., campus and convene Monday through Thursday. A Friday seminar course will often involve travel, as students will have the opportunity to visit corporations in the greater Portland area.
The George Fox School of Management also offers a Part-Time MBA program in Portland and Boise. The 26-month, 42-credit-hour program meets once a week from 6 to 10 p.m., plus occasional Saturdays. New cohorts begin in September and January.
