HCPro welcomes Lynne Spryszak, RN, CCDS, CPC-A, in the new role of CDI education director. In this position, Spryszak will focus on bringing the CDI Boot Camp, sponsored by the Association of Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialists (ACDIS), to health care organizations across the country. Spryszak is a founding member of ACDIS and serves on the association’s advisory board as well as the Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) certification exam board.

Bringing Lynne on as CDI Education Director was the logical next step for us

HCPro welcomes Lynne Spryszak, RN, CCDS, CPC-A, in the new role of CDI education director. In this position, Spryszak will focus on bringing the CDI Boot Camp, sponsored by the Association of Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialists (ACDIS), to health care organizations across the country. Spryszak is a founding member of ACDIS and serves on the association’s advisory board as well as the Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) certification exam board.

Spryszak will also provide guidance on the development of new ACDIS educational programs and speak at the third annual conference in Chicago June 3-4.

Prior to accepting this position, Spryszak was a CDI consultant with Precyse Solutions and FTI Healthcare. She served as manager of the CDI program at Alexian Brothers Medical Center, a 400-bed acute care facility. Her background includes case management as well as clinical positions in medical/surgical, oncology, and hospice nursing.
