Ohtama Subdivision in Evergreen, Colorado announces another fantastic opportunity to attend a unique opportunity to learn more about green building in Colorado.

As more information comes our way on Green Built Homes, there are more conferences available to teach builders and soon to be custom homeowners about building a greener home. The upcoming Built Green Conference & Expo in Belleview, Washington, March 12, 2010 is still another chance to learn more and educate ourselves in building a greener home.

“With the availability of these conferences throughout the United States, our homeowners can learn what to expect when they start to design their new energy efficient homes in Colorado,” said Mack and Andi Durbin, Broker/Owners of Rooftop Realty, exclusive marketing agents for Ohtama. “The builders on our team represent what can be done with building green homes in Colorado.”

John Kurowski, owner of Kurowski Development Co. has just returned from attending the International Home Builders show where he says things seemed livelier than last year. At the IBS a company that manufactures geothermal heating systems saw a steady stream of traffic.

“John has been active in green building in Colorado and has been invited to be a member of National Green Remodelers Council,” stated Don Bain, developer of Ohtama At Evergreen. “John has been building energy efficient homes in Colorado since 1974.”

The Built Green Conference & Expo has educational sessions available all day including James Jenkins of O’Brien & Company who will be speaking on ‘Achieving Zero-Net Energy Using the Passive House,’ and Shaun Hassel of Advanced Energy who will be speaking about ‘Energy Efficient Homes: Predictions, Performance and Real World Results.’ Shaun Hassel oversees the Houston Energy Efficiency Study that analyzes energy usage in 50,000 high performance homes.

The Green Built Conference floor will be open to the public from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Public passes may be purchased for $15.00 at the registration counter.
