Santa Barbara, CA (PRWEB) February 12, 2010
Power Training Institute is pleased to announce the kick-off of an original training program, “Power Lunch with Power Training.” This new monthly program is free and will highlight ideas covered in the “52 Secrets” book series written by Bonnie Cox; including the most recent in the series, 52 Secrets to Being a C.O.R.E. Employee (Capable. Organized. Reliable. Empowered.).
The first session, on March 4 at 11:15 AM PST will be a timely topic, “Attitude is Everything!” To register directly for this event follow this link: http://tinyurl.com/PTILunch
A study by Harvard University stated that skills and knowledge in the workplace contribute 15% to a person's performance, with attitude contributing an astounding 85%! It's been a few weeks since we made New Year's Resolutions, Performance Reviews are due (maybe overdue), the holidays are over and we're back to the grind; now is the perfect time to, as Zig would say, “give yourself a check up from the neck up.”
On March 4, Bonnie Cox, an expert in professional development, will help us to understand the effect of our attitudes on our positions and interaction with our co-workers. She will discuss ways to develop a “winning attitude,” share ideas on motivation, and discuss how small changes in perspective can make vast improvements on productivity.
Each month, Power Training Institute will present a new topic, including ideas on Learning to Think Like a CEO, Applying Personal Accountability, Understanding Your Organizations Business Model, Looking for Leadership Opportunities, and Taking Initiative.
Though the topics will change, classes will always take place on the first Thursday of the month, always at 11:15 AM PST, and will only last one hour.
If you think your organization could improve, let Power Training Institute help you change your corporate culture from the inside out! Join us on March 4 at 11:15 AM PST.
