This will allow clients to visualize their plans for future fiber expansion for community leaders and show prospective customers services available in each location in a compelling new interface
Richmond, VA (Vocus) February 12, 2010
For the third consecutive year, Mapcom Systems, developers of M4® Solutions, has won a top award recognizing the latest advancement in telecommunications. Mapcom received a second place award at the NTCA Expo 2010 Hot Technologies exhibit held in Tampa, Florida with the unveiling of M4’s utilization with Google Earth™ to visually enhance how clients view their data. The judging was based on the level of innovation, usefulness, significance of improvement, relevance in the rural marketplace and creativity of display.
M4’s new Google Earth export functions enable clients to see and edit their existing OSP plant information in a new interface. Clients can easily share data about fiber builds, vehicle locations, non-take rates and more.
“This will allow clients to visualize their plans for future fiber expansion for community leaders and show prospective customers services available in each location in a compelling new interface,” explained John Granger, President and CEO of Mapcom Systems. “We have an exceptional team of developers who continuously strive to display data accurately in a map-based interface,” Granger added.
