Norwich Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Norwich), a leader in full-service contract manufacturing and packaging, has named two seasoned industry professionals to its sales team to address sales needs created by its continued products and services expansion. John M. Dillon, MS and Nisha G. Harrison each recently joined the company in the role of Director, Business Development.

John Dillon has more than 30 years experience as a driving force to achieve annual sales and profit objectives in several pharmaceutical companies. Most recently, he worked as a Senior Account Executive for Catalent Pharma Solutions Clinical Supply Services where he grew sales for his assigned territory by more than $11 million over a five-year period. Prior to that, he was employed by Omnicare Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Oread, Alk-Abello, and Organon Teknika Corp in numerous capacities, including Senior Account Manager, Director, Product Management and Product Manager.

According to Dillon, “My ability to meet with and convert prospective clients into active business partners, along with my experience in developing and implementing marketing and sales plan strategies and objectives will serve me well at Norwich. I look forward to working with this dynamic company where my skills, training and experience will best serve its continuing growth, goals and objectives.”

Nisha Harrison most recently was employed as Business Development Manager, Licensing, North America, for Banner Pharmacaps where she was responsible for achieving business development goals and increasing revenue by out-licensing and in-licensing pharmaceutical, generic and OTC products and drug delivery technologies for commercial launch. Harrison’s industry experience also includes successful ventures with Metrics, Inc., JRS Pharma, Solvay Pharmaceuticals, NEN Life Science Diagnostic Products, and Amgen.

Harrison possesses an impressive track record for increasing gross margins by identifying, negotiating and closing outsourced services, sales contracts, drug development contracts, alliances and strategic partnerships with specialty pharmaceutical companies. Regarding her recent Norwich appointment, Harrison stated, “I’m excited to be working with Norwich as we expand our product offerings and services. This position certainly complements my past experience in prospecting, negotiating and procurement of contracts for outsourced pharmaceutical services and I look forward to helping Norwich develop new sales and distribution channels.”

Norwich has been serving the pharmaceutical industry for more than 100 years and is expanding its services to offer a full suite of product development and support services, as well as individualized client services in many areas of specialization.

Chris Calhoun, president of Norwich Pharmaceuticals, “Nisha and John are strategically poised to attract new customers who are in need of our expanded list of outsourced services that now include Phase I-IV clinical trials, specialty OTC manufacturing and RX to OTC transfer.
