America's seniors are at risk in and around the home. The findings from the CDC gleaned from many years of study show that "certain interventions can reduce falls (e.g., exercising regularly or having medicines reviewed to reduce side effects and interactions), but implementation at the community level remains limited, and additional measures are needed to promote widespread adoption."

MedFirst Alert provides those additional measures offering independence and security through the use of a Personal Emergency Response System (PERS -medical alert system).

One out of ever three seniors will fall each year. In the U.S. alone, this accounts for 12 million seniors each year. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, falls account for 70% of the accidental deaths in the elderly population.

Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERS) have been available to seniors for many years; however, such systems are only as good as the companies who monitor these systems. MedFirst Alert's central station is UL certified and has an audited response time of under 30 seconds which is well below the industry standard. Maintaining seniors independence and safety is the number one mission at MedFirst Alert. Seniors no longer have to feel afraid or lack the self confidence to live at home. Caregivers and family members caring for their loved ones no longer have to worry while out of the home or care facility.

MedFirst Alert has been expanding throughout the U.S. since 2009 and the company has been steadily growing its customer base.
