She candidly shares how she found His grace sufficient through it all

Take a journey through some of a believer's most inspiring life experiences in Xulon Press author Sandra Douglas' Life, Love and God's Grace ($10.99, paperback, 978-1-61579-702-8). This new collection of poetry delves into the depths of the author's soul as she shares how--by loving and praising God in the good times and bad--she found His grace sufficient through it all. Readers will follow important chapters in the author's life as she struggled, learned, grew, and then began expressing her feelings through writing and God's Word.

"I hope people will gain a sense of relating, understanding, and how we all have different feelings, emotions, and fears, regardless if we share them or not," the author says. "The best way I've come to deal with these things is with God. He brings strength, peace, and comfort; only He can [grant] a blessing."

The 44-year-old author says that although she is not a seasoned writer, she believes her book will touch others in a meaningful way, causing them to learn and grow in faith and love. "Poetry, to me, is a soul-searching experience to identify or somehow try to put to words life experiences and situations to touch the souls of others in an understanding way in order to make a difference," she explains. "And if I've done that, I feel like that's just a small part of the blessings I've been given!"
