In our increasingly global economy, financial reporting is being influenced by International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) more and more. Many businesses are, or will be, impacted by these reporting considerations and not only non-U.S. reporting subsidiaries or large international businesses. Much has happened during 2009 and into 2010 regarding the convergence of IFRS and U.S. GAAP, both for the near-term and in the future.
