Georgia Massage School to Host Annual AMTA Georgia Chapter Meeting

Georgia Massage School has been selected to host the annual meeting for the Georgia Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). The meeting for massage therapists will take place at the Georgia Massage School campus in Suwanee, Georgia on February 20, 2010.

Georgia Massage School co-owners, Laurie Craig and Rick Garbowski are looking forward to reuniting with many friends and former students at the February 20, 2010, GA Chapter AMTA meeting to be held at their massage therapy school located just outside of Atlanta in Gwinnett County. Craig was honored by the AMTA in 2007 by being named the National American Massage Therapy Teacher of the Year.

The purpose of the AMTA meeting is to elect new officers, present awards and to allow members to network, while enjoying a complimentary lunch (RSVP for lunch by email at president(at)amtaga(dot)org ). AMTA will be offering a continuing education class (6 CEU) for massage therapists on the day of the meeting. Sessions will begin at 7am and continue through 7pm.
